FDIsync Available Now
FieldComm Group has released FDIsync for host suppliers
FieldComm Group is launching a new subscription service for accessing the Registered EDD Libraries, with added support for Registered FDI Packages. With the release of FDIsync, the FOUNDATION Fieldbus and HART DD Library subscriptions will be deprecated. Members who have existing subscriptions will be offered an upgrade path to the new services described below. 

FDIsync Library
The release of the FDIsync Library provides a single interface to download all registered device support files for FOUNDATION Fieldbus and HART instrumentation – including all registered FDI Device Packages, FOUNDATION Fieldbus DD/CFF files and HART EDD files.

Important features in this release include:  
  • Single cloud repository for all instrumentation files for all protocols 
  • FDI Device Packages available as bulk download 
  • EDDs and DD/CFF files available as bulk download
FDIsync for Developers
The inaugural release of the FDI Developer API provides a modernized delivery system for Registered FDI Device Packages, FOUNDATION Fieldbus DD/CFF files and HART EDD files. Host application developers can tap into the power of this API for many target applications - enterprise distributions, registries, plant asset managers, cloud gateways and more! Subscribers will receive updates to the API through the Developer Portal and ShareFile access for bulk downloads.

Important features in this release include:
  • Single cloud repository for all instrumentation files for all protocols 
  • Automated updates (M2M) 
  • FDIsync updates to the repository are instantaneous, no lag between the Product Registry pages and the repository contents
  • Secure download and API (JSON/XML) 
  • Online documentation for the API is available within the Developer Portal 
  • Developers can create multiple API keys
FDIsync licenses are granted as corporate licenses, therefore multiple users can each be assigned a seat - this will enable our members to have team-wide access for host development.

New Purchases – Customers purchasing FDIsync Library will receive access to ShareFile.

Obtaining an FDIsync for Developers License
New Purchases – Customers purchasing FDIsync for Developers will receive access to the Developer Portal and the Library.
