See Us at Hannover Fair!

May 30 - June 2, 2022
The Hannover Fair Industry trade fair will take place on May 30 - June 2, in Hanover, Germany. The motto of the exhibition this year is "CREATING THE INDUSTRY OF TOMORROW" and this slogan very much aligns with FieldComm Group's strategy for the process automation industry. This is why we will be exhibiting at this fair, showcasing FieldComm Group technologies with the support of our members and demonstrating all the benefits of these technologies. We will also hold a press conference.
Hall 9, Stand D68
FieldComm Group will be co-exhibiting with Profibus International, an organization we have been collaborating with for many years. Our joint exhibit will be located in Hall 9, Stand D68 and will focus on the following topics:
FDI—Field Device Integration
Live demonstration with the following five FDI host systems:

• Field Information Manager (FIM) - ABB
• Asset Management Solutions (AMS) - Emerson
• FieldCare - E+H
• PACTware - Krohne
• SIMATIC PDM - Siemens AG
Users will see how these hosts access the process instruments via the following protocols:
PA-DIM® - Process Automation Device Information Model
PA-DIM is a common language for describing device data regardless of protocol, type of device or manufacturer. Visitors will learn more about PA-DIM, why it has become an important part of digital transformation and what benefits it brings to the PA industry and its end users.
Our experts will be available to discuss all these topics with you and, as ambassadors of these future-oriented technologies, we hope to provide a great experience to all our visitors under the slogan of Hannover Messe "HOME OF INDUSTRIAL PIONEERS". We look forward to your visit!
Press Conference
FieldComm Group will hold a press conference on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, 3:00-4:00 p.m. local time in the Convention Center, room 11. During the press conference FieldComm Group will make a  presentation which will demonstrate how FieldComm Group focuses on end users and their needs by collaborating to harmonize the process automation industry standards.

End users benefit when standards development organizations (SDOs) collaborate—especially regarding architectures, networks, and protocols—to deliver improved ease-of-use, simpler integration and backwards compatibility. This type of collaboration and competition provides benefits to end users because no single architecture, network or protocol standard is the best fit for every application. Users therefore need a range of choices to realize the best price/performance ratio and ease-of-use. Collaboration among standards development organizations provides the required flexibility by supporting FDI across a wide range of architectures, networks and protocols.
