New Document Proposed - Member Comments Requested Comments due by March 22, 2022 The FieldComm Group Advanced Applications Working Group has released a Technology Readiness Levels document.  Prior to its final release, members of FieldComm Group are provided the opportunity to review the document and are being asked to submit comments. The primary purpose of using Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) is to help in making decisions concerning the development and transitioning of technology. It should be viewed as one of several tools that are needed to manage the progress of research and development activity within an organization. The value comes in when viewing trends over time which allows decisions to be made. This provides an objective view of the technology based on science. This Technical Report is meant to provide a suitable system of the Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) for the FieldComm Group.  This document is not intended to act as a standard or handbook for the use of Technology Readiness Levels. Instructions The proposed Technology Readiness Levels document has been posted to the "Member Review" workspace. To access the document you need to be a member in the Member Review group. If you are not yet a member you can join by visiting https://workspace.fieldcommgroup.org and logging in.
